Santa’s Helpers throughout Aden and Elmore are begging for your assistance. It seems that Santa Claus has been imprisoned by the jealous and fanatical Thomas D. Turkey. Outraged by the treatment that he and his brethren have endured over the centuries, Thomas is holding Santa hostage in an undisclosed location to show the world that turkeys mean business. It is up to the citizens of this fair land to help free Santa. The fate of this and all future holidays depend on you. You must find Thomas and defeat him in a “turkey style” battle. Only then will Santa be free from turkey tyranny. Help Santa’s Helpers. Help Santa. And help save the holidays for us all.

General Information

In order to defeat Thomas D. Turkey, you must first obtain a Saving Santa Hat from one of Santa’s Helpers. Santa’s Helpers can be found in all major towns and starting villages across the land.

Thomas D. Turkey will spawn every four hours, but only for 30 minutes. His “battleground” will be the area just south of Frozen Valley (which is south of Dwarven Village).

Battling Thomas

After equipping the Saving Santa Hat, you will receive 3 Active skills (located in the Item Skills section of your skill list): Rock, Paper and Scissors. Only 30 people can battle Thomas at once.

At regularly scheduled intervals, Thomas will cast something that looks like a self-buff (pic 1). This is an indicator that all participants should now cast their chosen skill (either Rock, Paper or Scissors). If you cast before this time, the round will be invalid. If your skill is done at the right time, then you will see a Rock, Paper or Scissors icon appear above your character’s head (pic 2). This means that you are registered for the current round. You will also see a ‘buff’ icon next to your character window showing that your skill is now active.

Shortly after Thomas’ self-buff appears, he will then throw a random sign which will appear as an icon above his head (pic 3). If your choice beats his choice, then you will see another icon next to your character window indicating how many wins you currently have.

If you tie with Thomas, you do not lose any wins you have already accumulated. However, each Win only lasts for 2 minutes. So you must achieve another win (and no loses) within this 2 minutes in order for your Wins to stack.

When a player receives 3 consecutive wins, Thomas will bestow a beneficial buff on that player. This buff increases Max HP, MP and CP, Movement Speed, P.Atk. and M.Atk., and MP consumption for skills is decreased. This buff will last for 1 hour.

Once a single person receives 4 consecutive wins, Thomas D. Turkey will disappear, and in his place, you will get a glimpse of Santa and his reindeer before he heads out to spread holiday cheer throughout Aden and Elmore.

Holiday Santa

If Santa is released, he will then visit random players throughout the world.

There are conditions that must be met in order to be visited by Santa:

• You must be actively engaged in combat.
• You cannot be in a peace zone.

Holiday Santa will visit players for the next four (4) hours. There is no need to interact with him. If you are his chosen recipient, he will automatically place a present in your inventory.

Holiday Santa will dispense a set amount of gifts during this 4 hour period.

The Rewards

If you’ve been a good little boy or girl (and meet the conditions listed above), Santa will give you a Santa Claus’ Gift Set. This will appear as a red stocking in your inventory. Note: Please make sure that you have enough room in your inventory. If you don’t have the space, you will miss out on receiving the gift.

The Santa Claus’ Gift Set can be double-clicked to transform into three various gifts: Gift of Joy, Gift of Luck and Gift of Enjoyment. These gifts will then transform further into various useful items:

• The Gift of Joy will transform into 4 various Holiday Scrolls. Each scroll has a specialized set of buffs. No matter what your class, one of these scrolls will cater to your occupation. These scrolls can be used once every hour for 8 hours.
• The Gift of Luck will transform into a Santa Claus’ Weapon Exchange Ticket. This ticket can then be taken to a Santa’s Helper and exchanged for the enchanted timed weapon of your choice. The enchant will be randomly bestowed between +4 and +16. However, a few lucky players will receive a regular +10 A-Grade weapon when they attempt to exchange their ticket.
• The Gift of Enjoyment will transform into a Special Christmas Tree that you can enjoy the whole year round. However, a few lucky players will receive a Rudolph Agathion!

Everything except for the Santa Claus’ Gift Set is considered a Shadow-type Item, meaning that they have a finite expiration time attached to them. This means that time will continue to expire on these items whether you are in game or not, and whether they are equipped or not. The Gifts of Joy, Luck and Enjoyment are 4 hour items. The Holiday Scrolls have an 8 hour expiration. And the Santa Claus’ Weapon Exchange Ticket has a 12 hour expiration. Special Christmas Trees will remain in the game indefinitely.

Miscellaneous / Important

The following items and NPC’s will be removed from the game during maintenance on January 6th:

• Santa Claus’ Gift Set
• Santa’s Helper NPC

Event weapons obtained through the Santa’s Helpers are shadow-type items and will count down regardless of whether they are equipped or sitting in your inventory.

When an event weapon is equipped it will give a temporary passive skill. The passive skill received will depend on the classification of weapon being used (ie: blunt, dagger, dualsword, etc…).

When Santa is freed, every player can go to a Santa’s Helper and receive the Holiday Festival buff for the next 4 hours. This buff increases Max HP, MP and CP, Movement Speed, P.Atk. and M.Atk., and MP consumption for skills is decreased. This buff will last for 1 hour, but can be obtained for up to 4 hours.

Event Info

• Players can learn about the Trick or Transmutation event by speaking to the Alchemist’s Servitor.
• The Alchemist’s Chest Key drops during specific event drop times. The times and dates are detailed below under the Event Schedule info.
• Once players have obtained an Alchemist’s Chest Key, they can open one of the Alchemist’s Chests that are situated around the Alchemist’s Servitor. The Alchemist’s Chests contain the items required to create a Philosopher’s Stone.
• Players must have all required Philosopher’s Stone creation items and they must register the appropriate Transmutation Circle Recipe to their General Recipe Book in order to create the corresponding Philosopher’s Stone.
• Once players have created Philosopher’s Stones, they can double-click the stones to receive random event rewards. The rewards vary depending on what color Philosopher’s Stone you’re using.

*Please note: All of the head accessories have a set duration, much like shadow weapons and armor, but they are imbued with a re-usable magical effect. The re-use time varies from 5 minutes to 30 minutes, depending on the effect. A skill’s re-use timer will reset when the player logs in and also when the head accessory is equipped.

Event Schedule

• The key drop period begins on October 31, 2012 at 7:00 PM CET, and ends on November 11, 2012 at 11:59 PM CET.

The Event Managers will remain in the villages until November 17, 2012 at 11:59 PM CET.

For a limited time (up to December) we will offer a clan transfer facilities for players that want to come to play with us, so hurry up!

New players, coming in a group of 9 or more will receive a welcome bonus:

• Immediate level up to 76 (full learned skills without improved), with triclass and subclass quests done.
• 1 A grade armor set (Dark Crystal, Nightmare, Majestic or Tallum).
• 1 Majestic jewel set.
• 1 A grade weapon (without SA).
• 20.000.000 of Adena.
• 3.000.000 of Ancient Adena.

Using My Teleport

To use the My Teleport feature, players need at least one unlocked My Teleport Slot, a My Teleport Flag, and a My Teleport Scroll. My Teleport Slots can be unlocked with a My Teleport Spellbook.

My Teleport Spellbooks, My Teleport Flags, and My Teleport Scrolls can be purchased from the PrimeShop in-game.

Purchasing a My Teleport Spellbook unlocks 3 My Teleport Slots. With a My Teleport Slot unlocked, bookmarking a location is simple:

• At the desired location, open the My Teleports menu (located on the mini-map).
• Click the Save My Location button on the My Teleports menu. Players need at least 1 My Teleport Flag to save a location.
• Enter a name for the location and an acronym for the icon.

The location is now bookmarked, and will display in the My Teleports Spellbook! To modify a bookmarked My Teleport location, simply drag the icon and drop it on the “Edit My Teleport” icon (hammer icon) in the My Teleports menu.

Traveling to a My Teleport location is even simpler—just click the icon in the My Teleports menu, or drag the icon to the action bar and use it as a hot key. Teleporting with My Teleport will consume 1 My Teleport Scroll each time.

Purchasing My Teleport Supplies using PrimeShop

Purchasing My Teleport supplies from the PrimeShop is a cinch! To access the store, click on the PrimeShop Icon in the Lineage II client. From the PrimeShop, navigate to the Supplies tab to find the My Teleport supplies.

The ancient tribe of goblins who lived in these lands before the advent of the men are aroused! A legend says that one day the goddess Eva descended on the island to visit his little people, who spent his days in the most carefree joy.
